The preliminary scales and exercises are followed by 56 pieces and six études. The only other copies located of this edition are in the Kenneth Sparr collection and Yale University Librart. One other copy of the third work is located in the British Library.

None of the above pieces have been located elsewhere apart from a second edition of the Gatayes Méthode; the first Carulli piece; and another edition of the second Carulli title.
Molino (François) Grande Méthode Complette Op.46, second edition (revised and enlarged), lithographed pictorial dedication to the Duchesse de Berry and 3 plates by Engelmann, one depicting and naming the parts the guitar, the others of a female pupil and the left hand position, the remainder of the book engraved throughout, 131pp. (plate no. 80), including title-page and folding fingerboard diagram, both frayed and backed, somewhat soiled, contemporary half roan, worn, upper cover almost loose, folio, Paris, chez l`Auteur, [ownership inscription dated 1839]. ***The general introduction is followed by instructions on holding the guitar followed by lessons, scales and related pieces, a theme with 50 variations, and exercises in sustaining the sound on the instrument. A catalogue of music by Molino lists pieces up to Op.64. The volume was formerly in the collection of M. Stehling, a friend of Ferdinand Sor. The only other recorded copies of this tutor are a first edition and two second editions in Kenneth Sparr collection and a copy of the second edition in Yale University Library. .
Sola (Charles Michael Alexis) Sola`s Instructions dedicated by permission His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex, first edition, lithographed pictorial title-page, and 27 engraved pp. (plate no. 1450), with table, scales, exercises, and twelve pieces, lower outer corner cut away throughout, contemporary wrapper, folio, Chappell & Co., [1819]. ***Only two other copies have been located, one a later issue of c.1830.
Sosson (Alexander) A Complete Instruction Book with rules to facilitate a knowledge of that Elegant Instrument, 35 engraved pp. including pictorial title-page, the latter loose, with deleted ownership signature and later owner`s stamp at bottom margin, inner edge slightly frayed, outer edge trimmed, Goulding & D`Almaine, [c.1830], bound with Sola (Charles Michael Alexis) Les Amusemens Tiroliens. Favourite Swiss Airs as sung by the Tyrolese Family Rainer at the Egytian Hall, 20 engraved pp. including title, (plate no.R.M.R. 416), publisher`s letterpress advertisement on last page, slightly cropped, I. Willis & Co., Royal Musical Repository, [c.1830], later wrappers, partly obscuring text of advertisement, folio ***Sosson`s tutor has scales and exercises interspersed with 43 pieces, ending with four songs with French text. Various arrangements of the Rainer repertoire are known with piano accompaniments, but this collection for guitar and the Sosson manual appear to be unrecorded. .

At the end there are his autograph manuscript drafts for a song acompanied by the guitar and a guitar duet, 9pp., the first with dedication to Signor Bonaccia and his sister (another dedication to Luigi Mosca of Naples dedicatee of the Romanzo Caspriccioso, has been deleted); and manuscript music in a different hand, 7pp., for Le Postillion Musard and five other pieces. Toby decribes himself as a "Professeur de la langue Espagnole", but his music appears to be totally unrecorded. It seems likely that the volume was originally owned by the composer. Of the other pieces locations have only been found for one other copy of the Giuliani Trois Rondeaux. Giuliana no.14; and the Molino piece.
