Three 19th century fob seals. Two Georgian fob seals attached to a single split ring, both featuring carved intaglios featuring the Roman god Janus. One in citrine, the other in bloodstone featuring the latin motto "Praetio Prudentia Praestat" - Prudence supplies a reward. Both fobs have a Roccoco inspired form, featuringn scrolls, feathers and shells. The Georgian seals and split ring surface test in the range for 14K. The third seal is in rose yellow metal in a later 19th century style and is set with a large reddish brown agate. The metal surface tests in the region for 9K. Total lot weight approximately 66.4 grams. The Georgian split ring has a diameter of approximately 25mm, the length of the larger fob 36mm. The later fob has a ring with a diameter of approximately 25 mm and an overall length of 33mm.
