19th Century Longcase Clock, with painted square dial, inscribed, "Jno Tasker , Falkingham", secondary seconds dial and date aperture, the spandrels painted with gilt conch shells, eight-day movement, contained within an oak case, swan neck pediment, the hood with inverted tapered columns, above an arched panelled door, on a plain base, 218cms, (7’2"). Footnote: The name Tasker is recorded as working at Falkingham circa 1780.

A Continental white metal sugar basin and cover, of 18th century French design, of pear form, chased with scrolls, shells and foliage on a matted ground, the cover surmounted by a knop modelled as strawberry fruit and foliage; together with a silver bowl and stand, Birmingham 1909. 11cm and 7cm respectively.
