The ship was the Den Briel (Brill in English)

Comprising nos. 1, 7-18, 20-27, 29-31, 33-111, 115-131, 133-151. Mendelssohn p.967. Printed during the seige of Mafeking, the ‘slips’ give a fascinating insight into the lives of the people of the beleaguered town. (1)
