A George III oak longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the square painted dial with Roman numerals and inscribed 'R. Durrant, Beccles', cornered with shells, the hood with swan neck pediment above a glazed door and pair of turned columns, the trunk with arched door above a plain base and plinth, height approx 201cm, with pendulum and weight.
A Royal Crown Derby bone china ewer, mid-20th Century, of flattened baluster form with gilt neck and scroll moulded handle above gilt decorated ornamental pheasants amongst flowers against a blue ground, on a gilt scroll moulded base, height approx 25.5cm, two Royal Worcester gilt decorated blush ground models of shells, circa 1919, a Royal Worcester candle snuffer in the form of a monk, a Minton gilt decorated model of a toy soldier, and a Royal Doulton model of a rabbit.
Two Chinese carved mother of pearl shells with figural decoration on prunus blossom decorated wooden stands, shells 18.5 cm long x 19 cm high, the stands 15.2 cm long x 14.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS One shell has been broken in the past and repaired, various chips and losses in various sizes to the edges. also some cracks to the edges, general signs of wear and tar throughout. Second shell, again - losses, chips to the edges and some to the main picture, both shells with various scratches throughout. Stands - various scratches, small knocks, chips etc throughout. One shell has lost petals on the flower decoration, general signs of wear and tear throughout
A good and heavy 19th Century hallmarked silver Christening Tankard with gilt interior and repousse decoration of a husband and wife before a country cottage with trees and birds etc., raised upon a rocaille style cast base with 'C' scrolls and shells etc., high arching leaf capped handle, makers mark CR GS, assayed London 1854, 9.5cm (to top of handle), approx. 172g CONDITION REPORT: Nothing major apparent upon inspection although one foot appears to have been slightly pushed in but this is not really noticeable from the outside and the rim of the Tankard is only very slightly misshapen, otherwise no splits, repairs or significant damage.
A small silver group to include scallop edge shaped Coaster (10cm), an early 20th Century novelty silver Beer Tankard, a pair of Menu Holders modelled as armorial crests with deer's heads upon scallop shells, a conical shaped clear glass and silver mounted Whiskey Tot (with label), a silver topped cut glass Table Requisite Jar and a novelty white metal tusk shaped Pepperette (7) CONDITION REPORT: Dish looks Ok, novelty Pepperette similar, Tankard looks OK, two Menu Holders very dark and tarnishes, circular topped silver Requisite Jar - the silver top has been pushed in slightly, conical shaped Tot Decanter appears in good general order overall.
