A Lalique "Coquille" opalescent glass plate, early 20th century, moulded with four scallop shells with opalescent centre, engraved mark and pattern number 3010. Diameter 26.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: No chips or cracks visible. There are some very light surface scratches to the underside of the outer rim just below 9 o'clock on a clock dial on the left hand side. Engraved mark "R Lalique, France" which I believe to be a later Lalique mark.
A Lalique "Coquille" pattern bowl, early 20th century, with four moulded scallop shells and opalescent centre, engraved mark and pattern number 3202. Diameter 18.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small chip to the interior and exterior of the rim in the same location approximately 1.5 cm across by 1 cm deep. Otherwise there are no other obvious faults visible. The exterior and interior appear to be free from any noticeable scratches.

dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Nias, Simple, flat, single-edged blade, slightly enlarged toward the foible, hollow at the tip. Wooden grip, finely carved in a 'plate' shape, a demoniac figure on the base (bekhu). Brass ring-nut. Wooden scabbard with rattan bands, with rare ball ornament on the front side of the cap, in braided rattan, externally covered with shells of a particular walnut type and sea-shells. Very scarce. length 65 cm.
