An Italian silver coloured and etched glass circular sweet dish by Giuseppe Belfiore, Florence, post 1968 .925 standard, with a leaf and berry scroll band within narrow lines, the pedestal formed by three dolphins with scrolled tails supporting the dish, alternating concave and convex base with shells, 13.5cm (5 1/4in) high; twelve silver coloured capped glass individual salt and pepper casters; a silver coloured and blue glass panther on a ball by Cartier, .925 standard, 5.5cm (2 1/4in) high; and a silver collared glass match striker, London 1996 (15)
A pair of Italian carved mother of pearl shells, 19th century, each carved with a scene to include Christ in the manger and St Giorgio dispensing of the dragon. 12.7 cm and 13 cm diameter respectively. CONDITION REPORT: The shell depicting Christ in a manger has a small chip to the rim at bottom centre. Otherwise the shell is free from any further obvious faults. The shell depicting St. George has a small chip to the left hand side rim (9 o'clock). There is a further small chip mostly to the underside of the rim located around 6 o'clock. There is a small fleabite to the rim on the extreme side which is not notable when looking directly at the carved face. There are no obvious cracks to either shell. A late 19thC French ormolu and marble mantel clock by Marti & Cie, circular enamel dial painted with rose garlands, bearing Arabic numerals, eight day movement with bell strike, the case of rococo form, the barrel with Cupid quiver of arrows garland and trailing rose surmount, above flaming faggots on a fluted column, flanked by a maiden pursued by a cherub, raised on a circular base cast with shells and acanthus leaves, on four feet, with key, 48.5cm H.
A Lalique Coquilles bowl, opalescent etched R Lalique France to the underside. Diameter 23.7 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are no signs of any obvious chips, cracks or restorations. The bowl rings out nicely when lightly tapped. When running one's finger along the rim there is a small raised ridge but this is not instantly notable to the naked eye. Looking at the underside of the bowl there is a line running across 1.5 of the shells but this is a manufacturing flaw within the glass mould.

Two interesting framed displays of artefacts from the Battle of Rorkes Drift and Isandhlwana, 22nd January 1879, including bullets and musket balls, flattened Martini Henry cartridge cases, buttons, male portion of an OR's waist belt clasp, etc from the former, and fragments of 7 pounder artillery shells, friction tube, and musket balls from the latter, mounted on red cloth backing in pale wood glazed frames. GC; together with original receipts from a Durban dealer dated 2003, and a list of the items in the Rorkes Drift frame.
A tribal helmet of the African Congo Shulis Tribe, probably a chief, the dome completely covered in cowrie shells, with a long scarlet tapering cloth tail 24", embroidered with patchwork and a leather strip supporting two cloth tabs of patchwork.
