Early Victorian four-piece Teaset, the teapot and water jug each with hinged lid with a bird and fruit finial, acanthus scrolled handle and shaped spout with bird terminal and mask base, matching two-handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each with gilt interior and all engraved and embossed with scrolls, flowers and shells, on open scrolled feet, by Roberts & Hall.
An Edwardian four piece electroplated tea and coffee service, in Regency style, the rectangular ogee partly ribbed bodies with gadroon borders interspersed with shells, the teapot and coffee pot with swan neck and scroll spouts, the hinged covers with ivory finials, foliage capped bracket handles, on ball feet. Makers Walker and Hall, Sheffield. (4).
A good large 19th century Italian walnut cassone, in Renaissance style, of breakfront form, carved with egg-and-dart above a central panel in high relief with putti, grotesques and fruit pendants on a matted ground, the flanking outset drawers and ends carved with masks and exuberant mantling of ribbons, flowerheads and fruit festoons, the swell base with stylised shells, 209.5cm wide, 61cm high, mid-19th century
Gold and enamel snuff box, Austrian, 19th century, oblong shaped, the hinged cover with a central parcel enamel scene painted with two women beneath a tree in an Italianate landscape, within a heavily chased border of rococo shells, flowers and trellis, the base with similar border and crosshatched panel, the sides with floral scroll decoration, the inside of the lid set with a bevelled mirror. Marked on the flange with shield and maker's mark BB.
A 19th Century mahogany longcase clock by Pollard of Canterbury, the 12ins arched painted dial decorated with a romantic landscape to the arch and shells to the spandrels, with subsidiary seconds dial and date dial to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in mahogany case, probably by Goulden of Canterbury, with shaped cresting and turned and fluted columns to hood, arched trunk door, plain plinth and with shaped bracket feet, 81ins high (plinth altered and case generally in need of restoration - glass panel lacking to hood door)
An early issue Britains (1950s) Britains American 155mm gun (2064) in the earlier shade of gloss olive green. In early red with yellow label box, complete with accessories, shells, trail spades and wheels, plus barrel travelling clamp. Twelve novelty vesta cases, including cigars, in a band stamped Havana, cowboy, birds, rats, Art Nouveau shells; an example inset with a silver 3d coin; one engraved with a trotting scene all late 19th/early 20th c Some probably originally plated and two retaining the plated finish, others such as the Art Nouveau example retaining almost all the original gilding
