Bomb Disposal Signature of expert Lieutenant Commander John Bridge GC GM and Bar RNVR. During World War Two he defused close to 300 bombs, mines, depth charges and shells and became known as 'the Bravest Of The Brave. ' Especially proud that under his leadership none of his team were killed or injured. After the war he returned to the teaching profession and died peacefully in Sunderland on the 14th December 2006 at the grand age of 91. A truly remarkable hero. Good Condition.
