An impressive Spanish Colonial silver repousse mounted throne armchair probably Bolivian, the rococo pierced scroll back decorated with a crowned double headed eagle with sacred heart motif flanked by pomegranates and scrolling foliage above a red velvet padded back and seat, the scroll arms decorated with foliage above shaped aprons, the back with crowned sun face motif surrounded by pomegranates, shells, acanthus leaf and scrolling foliage stamped front and back POMA and on heavy claw and ball feet joined by a cross stretcher, 19th Century, 160cm high x 92cm wide x 65cm deep
A castle top silver notepad by Taylor & Perry, the front shows Abbotsford House with a rowing boat and swans on a lake before it within engraved scrolls and shells, the back shows another view of Abbotsford, Birmingham 1836, width 9.1cm, inside it are three ivory tablets named from Monday to Saturday, original pencil and card compartment. (See illustration) Condition report: Red silk lining frayed top and bottom, ivory scratched but good, no cracks, chips etc. Image very crisp, hallmarks very crisp.
Four Baluchi camel neckbands, Khorasan, north east Persia, 20th century, three piled with long woollen tassels and fringing, one also trimmed with shells; the fourth, woven and with maroon and green fabric patches trimmed with white buttons, with shells adorning the long woollen tassels. cf. A carved giltwood and gesso console table, the marble top with serpentine moulded border, the base carved fleurs-de-lys, open shells, scrolls, etc., on S-shaped legs with scroll feet, 70cm wide Condition Report: Areas of gilding chipped, repair to central frieze, right hand leg split at joint.

A wakizashi dating: early 18th Century provenance: Japan Shinogi zukuri blade, iori mune. Late Shinto (1700), Osaka school with Bizen influences. Mumei. Ha watari 45,1 cm. Toriizori. Chu kissaki. Hada inof itame nagare with masame at the shinogiji. Hamon starting with Osaka yaki dashi and then feturing koshi no hiraita midare with slightly-hinted yahazu ba of nioi deki with nie and yo. Boshi suguba ko maru, kaeri yoru. Nakago ubu, iriyamagata, yasurime sujikai, one mekugi ana. Koshirae, black, lacquered saya. Kodogu with iron, squared tsuba with roundededges featuring iroe shells, iron fuchi-kashira with landscapes, copper kozuka with iroe waves and rocks. Copper Habaki shaped as a half-chrysanthemum. Copper Menuki featuring vase and flowers. Tsuka with same and tsukaito.Blade in very good conditions, polished by Togishi Massimo Rossi. dimensions: length 60 cm.
