Both beakers have wear to the gilding and ruby flashing, one of the beakers has two footrim chips.

A Ruby and Diamond Brooch, by Kutchinsky, stylised in the form of a chick, the eye formed of a round cut ruby and four round brilliant cut diamonds in white claw settings, to a yellow textured body, measures 2.7cm by 2.5cm see illustration . The brooch is in good condition with slight discolouration and pitting to the beak. It fastens with a pin and revolver catch. It is signed 'KUTCHINSKY' and etched with a number which is indistinct. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; caratweight 0.05; colour H/I/J, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 12.04 grams. CR made 19.06.20.

A Ruby and Diamond Necklace, the oval cut ruby within a scroll mount set throughout with eight-cut diamonds, in white claw settings, surmounted by pairs of eight-cut diamonds in rubbed over settings to trace link chains, total estimated diamond weight 0.45 carat approximately, drop length 1.7cm, chain length 45.5cm see illustration . The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a bolt ring catch. The clasp is stamped '750' and in our opinion would test as gold. The ruby measures 10.8mm x 7.4mm x 3.6mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 8.49 grams. CR made 19.06.20.

Lot 237

A Ruby and Cultured Pearl Necklace, faceted ruby roundel beads spaced by cultured pearls, length 97.5cm see illustration. The necklace is in good condition, however we cannot guarantee the integrity of the string. It fastens with a lobster claw catch. The clasp is stamped '925' and in our opinion would test as silver. Gross weight 72.6 grams. CR made 18.06.20.
