Edwardian diamond and ruby pendant necklace, the openwork plaque with a central step cut ruby and eight old cut diamonds in platinum setting on gold, suspended from a further ruby in millegrain setting on gold trace chain in fitted leather box.The rubies have not been tested for natural origin and possibly synthetic. The central ruby measures approximately 2.5mm square and the larger ruby measures approximately 4.3mm x 3.8mm. The cluster/pendant drop measures approximately 13.2mm x 11mm. The length of the drop is approximately 49mm, the overall length of the necklace is approximately 48cm. The necklace weighs approximately 3.2 grams. The box is in good condition commensurate with age.
