A George V 18ct gold diamond and ruby ring, designed as a single cut diamond and two mixed cut rubies, gypsy star set to a tapering plain polished shank, marks for Henry Williamson Ltd, London 1916 (at fault), together with a 14ct gold 'Greek Key' ring, size M 1/2, gross weight 5.2gms (2)Note; Accurate sizing for the George V ring cannot be provided due to the split and damage to the shank. However, the internal width from one side to the other is 17mm.
An Italian novelty brooch by Cellino, modelled as a frog with ruby set eyes, sat upon a carved nephrite jade leaf, hinged pin and safety loop fastening to reverse, stamped ‘14K’ and ‘Cellino’, 5.1cm long, weight 8.8gmsCR: There are several chips and losses to the tip of the jadeite serrated leaf border. There is scratching and wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. The frog is attached to the stem/brooch fitting through a drill hole in the leaf - both are loose, wobbling slightly about the joint. The frog and brooch back are in good order, showing general scratching and wear, but no major thinning, splitting or repair. The brooch pin and catch are in good order, opens easily and closes securely. Both rubies show moderate scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. There is a midsized fracture to one of the ruby eyes of the frog. The settings are the eyes show moderate wear, but the stones appear secure.
