A Chinese famille rose eggshell porcelain ruby back saucer plate, Yongzheng, 1722-1735 Dia.: 15,5 cm Condition: A faint hairline from the rim at 2 o'clock. Ruby-backed dishes of this type include one in the British Museum, London, illustrated in Guide to Pottery and Porcelain in the Far East, London, 1924, pl. 127; a pair from the collection of Harold A.
