A ruby and diamond three stone ring, the cushion-shaped mixed-cut ruby framed by two pear-shaped old-cut diamonds, spaced by old-cut diamond points, above a scrolled gallery, yellow precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 1.60ct, ring size NScuffs, nicks/chips and facet abrasion to ruby, with a surface-reaching fracture. Mineral inclusions, 'silk' rutile needles and colour zoning visible to ruby under magnification (see images taken under microscope with darkfield illumination). Origin of ruby untested. Dimensions of ruby approx. 7.5mm width x 6.8mm length x 3.15mm depth. Diamonds are lively and relatively bright, estimated I to J colour and SI2 to P1 clarity, assessed mounted. Dimensions of pear-shaped diamonds approx. 7.15mm length x 5.1mm width x 3.9mm depth each. General wear to mount, considerable wear to edges and tips of setting, patchy tarnishing throughout. Shank has been re-sized. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 4.5gm.

A ruby and diamond five stone ring, alternately set with cushion-shaped old-cut diamonds and cushion-shaped mixed-cut rubies, spaced by diamond points, above a scrolled gallery, yellow precious metal mounted, (one diamond point deficient), total diamond weight approximately 0.70ct, ring size QRubies are of pinkish-red hues, both with surface-reaching inclusions and fractures, and chips and scuffs to the surface. The principal diamonds are lively and fairly bright, estimated SI1 to SI2 clarity and J to L colour, assessed mounted. The diamond points have a typically dull greyish and fractured/chipped appearance and one is missing. The ring mount has considerable wear and some of the tips to the claws require repair. The back of the shank has worn thin. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 3.3gm.

A ruby and diamond panel ring, the pear-shaped mixed-cut ruby collet set within a pierced and millegrained surround of graduated old and lasque-cut diamonds, two colour precious metal mounted, stamped '585', total diamond weight approximately 0.80ct, ring size K½The ruby has a pinkish-red hue with linear inclusions visible at an angled view to the table facet and has heavy abrasion, with some deeap scuffs, scratches and chips/nicks to the surface. Length of ruby approximately 7mm. Diamonds have variable colour and clarity, some stones with chips and surface-reaching fractures, but give an overall lively appearance, estimated SI1 to P2 clarity and I to L colour, assessed mounted. The ring mount has general surface wear, with patchy thinning to the edges of the setting, and a dark solder join to the shank as a result of re-sizing. Metal standard is untested. Length of panel (from top to bottom) 1.45cm. Gross weight approximately 3.2gm.

A synthetic ruby and diamond dress ring, the circular-cut synthetic ruby flanked by two old-cut diamonds in millegrain collet settings, between diamond set shoulders, two colour precious metal mounted, with worn interior inscription, total diamond weight approximately 0.45ct, ring size K½Scuffs, fractures and chips to synthetic ruby. Diamonds have variable colour and clarity, the shoulder set stones are especially greyish and chipped/fractured and one of the principal diamonds is chipped, estimated SI1 to P3 clarity and J to M colour, assessed mounted. Considerable wear to mount, with thinning to shank and chips/small splits to the settings. The settings and shoulders have dark solder joins/repairs and one of the end diamond collet settings appears to have been solder repaired back on to the mount. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approximately 2.1gm.

Rubies are well matched, of deep purplish-red hues, with surface wear. The ring mount has surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips commensurate for use. The shank has possibly been re-sized. S. to the cover, total diamond weight approximately 0.30ct, length 18.5cmDark solder repairs to some links, most obviously to one of the diamond set links. General surface wear, scuffs, scratches and chips/nicks throughout the bracelet, commensurate for use, with areas of porosity and patchy discolouration which may be as a result of repair. The rubies have surface wear, scuffs and chips/nicks and contain surface-reaching fractures. Diamonds are lively but with variable colour and clarity, some stones with chips and surface-reaching fractures. Length of central cluster setting approximately 9.5mm. The clasp is currently functioning. Metal standard is untested and the mark to the clasp is rubbed. Gross weight approximately 25.3gm. General wear to box with scuffs and patchy losses to exterior finish.
