19th C. Chinese Ruby Red Glass Snuff Bottle. Circa 1750-1820. The compressed globular bottle rested on an oval foot ring, one main side carved with an auspicious deer, reversed with the shoulao holding his peach (Longevity God) and companied by his attendant. The ring is set with two round old cut rubies with an approximate weight of 0.10 carats in total, in the centre is a central engraved floral motif set with three rose cut diamonds, approximately 0.09 carats in total.
