A peridot and ruby ring attributed to Dorrie Nossiter, the central claw set faceted peridot set to above and below with a ruby cabochon and a faceted peridot with another oval cut peridot below, the whole forming a triangle shape, set to either side with yellow metal scrolling wirework to a white metal mount and band, unmarked, approx. length 2.5cm, size N both rubies have surface rising fractures, the lower one especially so, and both have signs of cleavage. All stones have abrasion & girdles have nibbles. One claw needs repairing. Minor wear to metalwork consistent with wear.

Wenger Glaze Experimental Plate, ruby red lustre test piece bearing the monogram of Alfred Wenger, who was known to supply glazes to Pilkington`s Royal Lancastrian; this otherwise conventional china dinner plate is decorated with the faces of three Chinese Mandarins with long, wispy beards and elaborate headdresses, facing forwards; the rich red glaze is finished with a strong lustre overall, on a pink washed ground; the underside shows the ruby lustre brushed on roughly around the rim, Wenger`s monogram, various identification numbers and the word `Glaze` in green; 10.25 inches in diameter

The central Panel Engraved With A View of the Great Exhibition From The Serpentine and Inscribed the same. The Cover with faceted finial and Shaped Edge with a Knopped Stem and Petal Cut Base. Flashed With Grape and vines Decorations. Circa 1851. At the Exhibition such pieces as this were a show and sold to visitors, some exhibits actually engraved said pieces at the show, showing the artists virtuosity in making such fine pieces. A pair of ruby glass mantel vases with crenellated rims and on pedestal bases, with enamel and gilt decoration and prismatic drops 36cm [2] Further Information The condition of these two vases are resonably good. There is one prismatic drop missing. The remaining drops are in resonable condition with the odd minor chip. The rims of each of the vases are in ok condition, there are again one or two small chips but no major cracks or pieces missing. The bodies of the two vases appear to be free from cracks or chips. There is slight loss of gilding in quite a few places all over each vase.
