GAME OF THRONES (TV SERIES, 2011-2019) - Euron Greyjoy's (Pilou Asbæk) SFX Battle AxeEuron Greyjoy's (Pilou Asb&‌aelig;k) SFX battle axe from the fantasy television series Game of Thrones. In the Season 7 episode "Stormborn" Euron boarded Yara Greyjoy's (Gemma Whelan) ship after ambushing the Iron Fleet. This axe was created for the shot in which he swung it into an enemy's head. The axe is made of biscuit foam painted to look like metal. Its head is shaped like a kraken, the sigil of House Greyjoy, and features faux ruby eyes. It has a section cut from the blade to fit it over the head of the actor playing Euron's victim. The axe has some imperfections in the casting. The recognisable Staff of Ra headpiece appeared in numerous scenes, including when Commander Toht (Ronald Lacey) burned his hand on its emblem while attacking Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen), when Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) spoke with Sallah (John Rhys-Davies), and again when Indy used its headpiece in the Well of Souls to locate the Ark of the Covenant.This moulded plastic headpiece was cast from the original moulds for the Staff of Ra headpiece and gifted to a Raiders crew member. It is ornately sculpted with a double-sided bird design surrounded by hieroglyphs and fine ridged details along the borders, painted gold, and inset with a plastic faux ruby eye. The headpiece comes with a gold-colour link chain necklace and two brass staff mounts. The lot exhibits minor signs of wear, including light scratching and paint flaking. NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: BATTLE OF THE SMITHSONIAN (2009) - Ruby SlippersA pair of ruby slippers from Shawn Levy's Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria) tossed aside one of the Smithsonian's famous ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz when he discovered it did not actually contain rubies. The Night at the Museum franchise includes three live-action films, an animated film, a video game, and a stage musical currently in the works.These slippers, replicas of those worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 film, feature red translucent sequins applied throughout, matching bows, cream-colour leather linings (one labelled "I. Miller Beautiful Shoes Made in New York"), and applied orange felt bottoms replicating the same modification seen on the real ruby slippers that currently reside in the Smithsonian museum. Also included are two paper tags meant to look like aged Federal Archive tags and a Letter of Authenticity from Stephen H. Jarrett, who created the slippers for the film.
