SIMEON STAFFORD (b.1956) Unframed, signed, oil on board, Naive busy beach scene with striped umbrellas and sailing boats out to sea, inscribed verso, `Windbreakers`, Stafford moved to Cornwall in 1996, resulting in a great deal of his work influenced by the Cornish coastline. He has developed a number of recurring motifs in his work, which can be looked out for, such as `Dot`, a young girl cartwheeling across the canvas (his aunt as a child), `Ruby`, a young girl with pigtails and sometimes a man with red stripy trousers leading a small boy by the hand (Simeon with his son). Previously exhibiting at the R.A. in 2001, Simeon also has his work in the Queen`s private collection, 90cm x 90cm. Provenance: Purchased directly from the artist. (ARR).
A lot to include three silver half eternity rings set with sapphires, rubies and emeralds all stamped 925 all size O½, with three plated paste set rings all size L, together with a faceted ruby rondelle bead necklace fitted with a 9ct yellow gold lobster catch, an imitation strung pearl necklace with a gold plated silver decorative box catch, a yellow metal necklace with paste set crescent and a cold enamelled hinged paste set bangle (10).
A 9ct yellow gold ruby and diamond ring, channel set with three rows of round cut rubies, interspaced with rows of melee diamonds, hallmarked Birmingham 375, size N weighing 3.4g, together with a 9ct yellow gold ring claw set with a pear cut coated topaz measuring 15x10mm with leaf design diamond set shoulders, hallmarked Birmingham 375, size N1/2 weighing 5.5g.

A pair of late 19th century century ruby glass tinted table lustres with enamel floral decoration and two rows of seven cut glass drops, height 36cm, each on ebonised plinth on a glass dome. CONDITION REPORT: Wear to the decoration, domes are in good condition, a few drops are slightly damaged but generally in good condition.
