A late Victorian two row ruby and diamond closed crescent brooch, an outer row of graduated oval Swiss cut rubies, claw set to cut down collets with a scalloped gallery, to an interior row of graduated eight cut diamonds, grain set in silver. A brooch fitting and vacant fitting for a forchere CONDITION REPORT: Tested as silver and 9ct gold. 27mm diameter. Slight table facet edge wear to some of the central rubies, only visible under 10x magnification, but no damage to the stones. Good colour, tone and saturation to the rubies. Some tarnish. A forchere is a forked hair fitting.

Diamond set crescents to each side, to a blade edge swag, claw set with graduated old European cut diamonds and diamond set bow above. Detachable diamond set bale and later base metal chain. A rectangular gun metal cigarette case, c.1910, probably Russian, with sapphire, ruby and diamond set clasp. The hinged rectangular cushion shaped case with a trefoil cluster of a Swiss cut sapphire, ruby and rose cut diamond, to a rose cut diamond set chevron. A circular cabochon sapphire, rub set to a plain rose gold collet, tested as approximately 14ct gold
An Art Deco ruby and diamond cocktail ring, with a circular mixed cut ruby, four claw set at the centre. A fan shape cluster of three, channel set, baguette cut diamonds, to the top and bottom, with eight cut diamonds to each side. Marked PLAT. Finger size M½ CONDITION REPORT: Chip or indented natural inclusion to the girdle of the ruby, which can be seen on the second image on our website (hover to enlarge the detail). A second chip further round (see image). Significant crown facet edge wear and scratches. Dimensions 7.32mm x 7.11mm x 3.65mm. The ruby will probably have to be repolished. OR 7/4 GIA colour grading estimate. Ring requires cleaning Diamonds VS2/SI1/SI2 range Some setting edge wear.
A graduated ruby and diamond five stone ring, three old Swiss cut rubies, between two old European cut diamonds, all claw set to white scroll collets, to yellow under bezel shoulders and shank. Finger size L½ CONDITION REPORT: All the claws are nice and deep, and have been re-tipped in the past. One requires a setter to push it onto the crown of the diamond. Under bezels and shank secure.

A spray of calibré cut rubies, channel set in rose gold through the centre. Clip fittings. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. Fittings tested as approximately 9ct gold CONDITION REPORT: One ruby may be a synthetic ruby replacement. 23mm in length. 18mm diameter.
