A star ruby and diamond ring, the oval cabochon star ruby, with a weight estimated as in excess of 20.00ct, four claw set to the centre, flanked by a cluster of tapered baguette and round brilliant cut diamonds each side, to elevated shoulders into a plain band. Condition ReportWith an old valuation for insurance. The stated weight on the valuation document is 20.00ct for the cabochon, however it is likely to be higher than 20.00ct The cabochon presents some stress hairlines visible under 10x magnification. The star is well defined when a penlight is pointed to the top of the gem. Diamonds have small clear inclusions visible with a 10x loupe. In good condition, with no visible signs of repair.
