Ruby and diamond eternity ring with a band of old cut cushion shape diamonds interspaced by calibre cut rubies. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.00ct. Ring size J½. Condition report: The ring has been re-sized and consequently there are now two diamonds together rather than interspaced by a ruby. The general condition is good, commensurate with age and wear. The rubies have not been tested for enhancement or natural origin. The diamonds measure approximately 2.6mm x 2.8mm. The metal is not hallmarked but probably either 18ct white gold or platinum. Gross weight approximately 3.68 grams
19th century yellow metal charm in the form of a hand, set with ruby, probably originally a clasp. 20mmCondition report: We are uncertain whether it is solid gold or has a metal core, the surface appears to test as approximately 15ct gold, there is evidence of a previous file mark on the underside of the thumb. There is a pin visible on the top of the hand near the cuff (can be seen in the images), this pin tests as not gold and therefore possibly suggests a metal core? The cuff is missing one small seed pearl. The hand is very good quality and well modelled. Gross weight approximately 5.3 grams.
Art Nouveau French diamond ruby and seed pearl ring, the openwork plaque with a central old cut diamond, ribbon and floral scroll with calibre cut rubies, rose cut diamonds and seed pearls, on 18ct gold shank, French control marks. Ring size N. Condition report: The ring is in good condition commensurate with age. It has possibly been converted from a brooch and I suspect that the shank has been added later, Continental control hallmark to the shank. There would appear to be three pearls or decoration missing from the circle as there is evidence of some loss. One pearl has been re-glued. One ruby is chipped and there is a section of the rubies where they have been glued back into place. The plaque measures approximately 30mm length. Gross weight approximately 6.8 grams.
