An aquamarine and ruby dress ring, the octagonal step-cut aquamarine in raised part-collet setting, between stepped shoulders of rectangular step-cut rubies, 18ct white gold mounted, hallmarked for Birmingham 2010, with maker's mark A&W, numbered, aquamarine dimensions approximately 14mm length x 12.5mm width x 8.1mm depth, ring size Q½Condition report: The aquamarine has a light greenish-blue hue with shallow scratches and scuffs to the surface and small nicks/chips to facet edges. Rubies have slightly variable orangey-red and pinkish-red hues, of good transparency, some stones with small faint inclusions, some stones with small surface nicks/chips when viewed under magnification. One of the rubies appears to be chipped to the pavilion. The ring mount is modern, with light surface wear. Width of setting approx. 2cm. Gross weight approx. 11.2gm.

A ruby and diamond five stone ring, alternately set with graduated cushion-shaped rubies and old-cut diamonds, yellow precious metal mounted, total diamond weight approximately 0.10ct, ring size LCondition report: Rubies are slightly variable, of pinkish and orangey-red hues, with surface wear, nicks and small chips. The diamonds are not very well matched, each has chips and fractures and one stone has a deeper profile. The ring mount is worn, with thinning to the tips of the setting, and the shank has been re-sized several times, with associated solder joins. Part of the hallmark is missing and the remainder of the hallmark is rubbed. Gross weight approx. 3.2gm.
A ruby and diamond cluster ring, the cushion-shaped mixed-cut ruby collet set within a border of old and single-cut diamonds, above a scroll engraved gallery, between similarly cut diamond set shoulders, two colour precious metal mounted, (one diamond deficient, break to one shoulder), total diamond weight approximately 0.15ct, ring size KCondition report: The ruby has several large fracture inclusions and iron-stained fractures which give an orange/brown hue in places. The largest of these fractures is surface-reaching and extends diagonally through the length of the stone. The body colour of the ruby is pinkish-red, with areas of whiteish colour zoning, and the ruby has scuffs, nicks and small chips to the surface. The ruby is untested for both origin and use of treatments. Diamonds are slightly variable but most have a greyish/yellowish appearance and some stones have surface chips/fractures. One of the shoulders is broken and there is a diamond missing at this position. Diamonds graduate from approximately 0.7mm to 1mm in diameter. The shank is off-round and has been pulled to one side. The edges of the central collet setting are heavily worn, with thinning and splits in places. The scroll engraved gallery is heavily worn to each tip of the setting. The mount has considerable wear, with thinning to the back and sides of the shank and to the outer edges of the setting. Metal standard is untested. Pendant/brooch: rubies are well matched, of pinkish-red hues, with small natural inclusions and light surface wear visible under magnification.
