An Art Deco 'Odeonesque' diamond and ruby ring, the stylized head designed as a tapering arch set with calibre cut rubies and old cut diamonds, continuing to a stepped shoulder with two cushion cut diamonds, all set in white gold to yellow gold shoulders and shank, Egyptian seagull mark and 12ct gold mark, weight 6.2gms (at fault)Condition Report; One of the principle diamonds has a moderate sized fracture running from the table to the facet edge. There appears to be a natural on one of the old cut diamonds. There are no other fractures, chips or losses to any of the other diamonds or rubies. There is some wear to the claw settings around the diamonds, but all the stones appear to be secure. The setting and shank are heavily scratched and generally worn, but there is no signs of splitting or repair. The hallmarks on the shank are heavily worn, and not all are legible. Please note: The shank is quite heavily denting/misshapen, and therefore we cannot provide an accurate ring size. Currently it measures as a size O, but this could change with repair.
An Edwardian ruby and diamond 18ct gold ring, the quatrefoil head set with four untested round mixed cut rubies and fifteen round mixed cut diamonds, all set in 18ct yellow gold to plain polished shank, marks for Birmingham 1901, ring size P, weight 3.1gms Overall condition is good. All stones are present. All the rubies are in tact, no chips or losses visible. All diamonds are in tact, no chips or losses. There is wear to the claws on the stones, ranging from minor to heavy, but the majority are in tact. There is some areas of splitting and denting to the setting, but no signs of repair. There is some denting/misshaping to the shank (see pictures for illustration), but no splitting or signs of repair.The head measures 14mm x 9mm. The head does appear to be original to the shank, though there are visible seams where the head meets the shank (see pictures for illustration). We advise that all interested bidders view this lot in person before bidding where possible.

The gathered grossgrain clutch with a matching wrist strap and gilt metal clasp, hand engraved with a foliate pattern, and a pressure fit rectangular clasp, claw set with a carved and pierced jadeite plaque with a border of freeform cabochon rubies, opening to reveal a concealed mirror and pierced palm trees. A cabochon ruby and a cabochon set at each end, signed to the interior clasp 'Odette, 93 rue Fouad, Alex' with a silk coin purse and mirror to the black silk lined interiorCondition report: Some wear to the gilding on the clasp where it has been handled most.Some tarnish to the hasp at each side of the clasp. This should polish off.Natural inclusions and surface reaching inclusions to the gemstones.A few marks to the grossgrain base of the bag if you look closely. Spot dry cleaning may remove them, but overall clean.No wear or damage.
