A Victorian diamond set en tremblant spray and bee brooch, c.1880,with a rose bloom and spray of Lily of the Valley and ferns. The en tremblant rose bloom with a cushion cut diamond, in a cut down collet at the centre, with old European cut and cushion cut diamond set petals and stem. The diamond set leaves and sprays all with cushion cut and old European cut diamonds in cut down collets, with grain set foliage. The bee settled on the Lily of the Valley, with graduated rose cut diamond set wings, thorax and abdomen, with cabochon ruby eyes, to a replacement roller catch. Tested as approximately 18ct gold and platinum, 2.67g.Finger size MThe ring tested as approximately 18ct gold with platinum claw to the diamonds.Some facet junction wear and scratches to the ruby.Claws to the ruby are worn - the centre claws and one of the edge claws missing entirely. Some of the remaining claws show evidence of having been previously retipped.Wear to some of the platinum claws, and two claws have been bent at an angle.Solder joins visible at each shoulder, the half shank is possibly a later replacement.The ruby measures approximately 6.14 x 5.35 x 2.72mm. The diamonds measure approximately 4.5 x 3.0mm, estimated as approximately 0.40ct each. Some nibbles to the girdles of the diamonds.

Antique plique-à-jour enamel dragonfly brooch with opalescent enamel wings, ruby eyes and body, and single cut diamonds in silver and gold setting, 42mm.Very good condition commensurate with age. The enamel is in perfect condition. There has been a repair to the tail and there is an illusion effect of a stone at that point, rather than a diamond. The diamonds are mostly single cut stones which are lively bright stones. Gross weight approximately 8.4 grams.

A pair of 20th century Russian style 18K gold, nephrite, diamond and ruby set vases, c.1970 applied with 18k solid gold laurel garlands suspended from a ring set with bright diamond and cabochon rubies in V junctions, Menorah in platinum and yellow gold, diamonds and drop shaped rubies, width 6cm, height 15cm.Tiny chip to the rim of one vase. A few very minor scratches to both gold bases. Three of the pear shaped rubies are chipped or cracked.The style closely resembles the work of Michael Perchin, a renowned Faberge workmaster. The quality of the workmanship and the materials used in these vases are comparable to his earlier pieces.
