The garnet ring is deficient of one garnet and the seed pearls are heavily worn, the shank has been resized which has removed most of the hallmark but in our opinion it would test as 9 or 15 carat gold.

Further numbered '0329A' and stamped '1 3/4 pints'. Engraved 'Dunhill London'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some more obvious scratches in places. There is an area non the body near the detachable cup where the silver plate has been worn away showing the yellowish metal underneath.

The fountain pen has an 18-carat two-tone gold nib and is a limited edition that is hard to come by.The first model of this series was launched in 1950, the model 400. It became a worldwide symbol of the brand thanks to its green striped barrel. In the 1980s, the collection was given its current name: Souverän, although it is also popularly known as "Stresemann", because the Secretary of State of the Weimar Republic was famous for his striped suits, which were reminiscent of this collection.The coating of these pieces is a very laborious task. Starting from a cotton material, a special formula is used and after many steps, a piece is obtained which gradually takes on the form of a striped sheet. The next step consists of shaping the form, rectifying it and finally cutting it with the help of a diamond.The instrument is then polished to a high gloss and finally the clip is mounted in the characteristic stylised pelican shape. The barrel depicts Saint George slaying the dragon and the cap features a white floral motif on a red background. The clip is adorned with a ruby and the cap with a carnelian.Half rhodium-plated 18k rhodium-plated nib.OMAS is an Italian fountain pen manufacturer based in Bologna. It was founded in 1925 by Armando Simoni.Initially a small workshop dedicated to the repair of fountain pens, it managed to evolve rapidly thanks to the creation of machines and equipment necessary to obtain the mouldings and the grinding of the nib tips.After the death of "Cavaliere Simoni", in 1958 his daughter Raffaella and her husband Angelo Malaguti inherited the company. In 1983 his grandson, Gianluca Malaguti, joined the family business, where he showed his talent in the search for beauty and harmony of design, following the tradition of the Bolognese brand.OMAS was part of the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton S.A. group, and in June 2018 it was announced that Ancora, another Italian fountain pen manufacturer, had acquired OMAS and that production would resume and OMAS would remain a separate brand, retaining its classic models and using the materials inherited from the previous company.

The Riviera Collection was launched in 1998. The pens and lighters are coated with vermeil coatings created by the distinguished Lausanne goldsmith Edouard Jud. Beautifully inspired by the vines that flourish throughout the Swiss Riviera on the shores of Lake Geneva. This Riviera fountain pen has a beautiful ruby resin barrel and is crafted in gilt silver that really highlights the gold vermeil grape vine layer. It has a two-tone 18 carat gold nib.

MASRIERA AND CARRERAS.Pendant brooch in 18k yellow gold. Modernist frontispiece with marked romantic symbolism decorated with the figure of a winged nymph, wearing a long pleated tunic topped by a slightly pearled lower pearl with movement. She rests on a circular structure decorated with a calibrated ruby-cut carré, total weight ca. 2.50 cts, and holds a large diamond in her hands. The figure is framed in a translucent background worked in 'pliqué-à-jour' enamel with lines decorated with diamonds weighing ca. 1.00 cts.A similar model is catalogued in "Els Masriera. Un segle de joieria i orfebreria", p. 132, ref. 101.According to this publication, the original drawing of a very similar model appears in the 1908-1916 Workshop Book. A very similar coloured drawing appears in Álbum Masriera Hermanos Colgantes Figura, 90, num. 12.0290. This piece corresponds to a particularly symbolist model which was very successful and in great demand at the beginning of the 20th century, which is why there were many commissions with different variants, especially between 1908 and 1911.Measurements: 9 x 4 cm.The firm was founded in Barcelona in 1838 by Josep Masriera Vidal. The process of making the pieces, from the design to the final polishing, was carried out in the family workshop, which gradually expanded as demand increased and, with it, production. By the end of the 19th century, the Masriera workshop was already the most important in the city of Barcelona, winning the Gold Medal and the Unique Prize awarded by the Associació d'Artífexs en Joieria i Plateria de Barcelona (Association of Jewellers and Silversmiths of Barcelona). In 1887 they changed their name to "Masriera Hermanos", and with Josep Masriera Manovens at the helm, production was extended to jewellery, partly thanks to the recovery of various enamelling techniques, together with his son Lluís Masriera Rosés, who became the jeweller of Catalan Modernisme, achieving international renown.
