A 1936 Austin 7 Ruby Saloon, Registration No. CLJ 628, finished in black, first registered 12/11/1936, 747 cc., Chassis No. 256095, Engine No. 2560970. Currently showing 98,529 miles (Not warranted correct). A new V5 is present. This was the first Austin motor car acquired by the family in July 1986 from Lincolnshire and engendered the enthusiasm for the Austin marque, which resulted in the gathering together of the collection. The Information Folder includes an old 1962 Registration Book, various MOT certificates issued 1982 -1997, an Austin 7 Lubrication Chart, hardback books of the Austin Seven (1937 model - No. 972, 1400 B and 1400 D) and The Austin Seven Spare Parts List 1406 B. This car successfully completed the 750 Motor Club John O' Groats to Lands End Run at Easter 1992 in celebration of 70 years of the baby Austin. This well presented car starts and drives and is sure to provide many more memorable adventures in the hands of the new owner. A new 6 volt battery is fitted.
