An 18ct gold ruby and diamond dress ring, the central round cut ruby flanked by 14 old cut diamonds in marquis shaped formation, approx 0.28ct in total, surmounted by a further round cut ruby to each shoulder, 18ct stamped to underside, 2.5, ring size Q CONDITION REPORT: Lot 17 - good condition, most likely Victorian in age, no further hallmarks other than 18ct stamped to underside, diamonds are approx. 0.28ct in total, very light scratches to rubies seen under eye glass, cannot detect any flaws on diamonds, however due to their small size and irregular old cut, they do appear a little irregular in formation and therefore it is difficult to detect any major flaws.
A 9ct gold seed pearl swallow brooch, 3.7g, together with a 9ct gold ruby and seed pearl mourning brooch, 2.7g, both stamped 9ct on reverse, and a yellow metal seed pearl butterfly brooch, 1.7g (3) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 39 - swallow brooch: one seed pearl missing from swallow's back. Mourining brooch: looks to have been repaired along right hand side of central square - discolouration restoration line. Butterfly brooch: Good condition, no issues.
