A CONTINENTAL GEM-SET ENAMEL EASTER EGG BEARING PSEUDO-RUSSIAN HALLMARKS INCLUDING FABERGE, second half of the 20th century, together with "56" gold standard and workmaster Mikhail Perkhin, the orange guilloche enamel body encased within a trellis punctuated with Imperial eagles, the hinged cover set with a diamond and ruby-set crowned "A" monogram, the base date 1897 in diamonds, with a satin lined interior. 14cm. Note: a close copy of the 1897 Imperial Coronation egg, the original differing in containing a surprise, the Coronation Coach, the monogram is of the Empress Alexandra.
