An Edwardian Silver Four Piece Tea Service, Reid, Langford & Reid, London 1906/07, retailed by Reid & Son, Newcastle, compressed circular, in the George IV style, with gadroon, mask and foliate rim, scroll handles, chased and engraved with a band of scrolling foliage, engraved G.W.& C.M.W April 27th 1887-1912, the hot water jug, 20.5cm high, 76oz 18dwt (4). Marks generally clear, hot water jug marked to back of neck, remaining pieces to underside. Hanles of teapot and hot water jug vary in colour. Covers both part marked, finial to one does not tighten fully. Occasional light bruise, a scratch to one cartouche and some general light surface wear.

An Unusual Early Victorian Irish Silver Three Piece Tea Service, R W Smith, Dublin, 1838, of squat circular form, profusely decorated in the chinoiserie manner with panels featuring figures and pagodas, within C scroll borders, the cover of the teapot with a China man finial, all with foliate scroll handles and on decorative foliate shell bracket feet, engraved with a crest of an arm in armour holding a sword, the teapot 31cm long handle to spout, 66oz 16dwt (3)
An Art Deco Silver Four Piece Tea Service, Viners Ltd, Sheffield 1954, of panelled oval form and with engraved decoration to shoulder, ivory handle and finial to teapot and hot water jug, the hot water jug 15cm high, 56oz 6dwt (4) With CITES A10 (non-transferable) licence no.568880/01. Some light wear to marks, covers are part marked. Some age cracks showing in the ivory. Generally good order.
An Indian White Metal Three PIece Tea Service, late 19th century, spherical form, decorated with panels of deities and with elephant handles and spout; and An Indian White Metal Coffee Pot, late 19th century, oval on pedestal foot, decorated with bands of tigers and elephants in jungle landscapes, elephant handle and spout, the coffee pot 22cm high, 59oz 16dwt (4) . All pieces unmarked but in our opinion would test as silver. The cover to the teapot is detached at hinge and would need re-soldering. Decoration appears mostly crisp. One insulator lacking from the coffee pot handle. The foot of the coffee pot is misshapen slightly and as such wobbles when sat on a flat surface.
A Victorian part tea service, on a cream ground decorated with pagoda amongst flowers, heightened in gilt Condition Report / Extra Information Teapot - heavily crazed, discoloured/stained.Sucrere - chips to interior rim, small chip to lid rim.Several cups with hairline cracks and breaks to handles, one with old rivet repairs.One saucer with hairline crack through the centre.The vase majority of pieces are heavily stained/discoloured.All with wear to the gilt, mainly the saucers.

A Victorian silver four piece tea and coffee service, A B Savory and Sons, London 1856 (teapot) and 1861 (remainder), each piece with embossed floral and foliate detail surrounding a vacant cartouche and engraved leopards head crest to the other side, the covers with strawberry fruit knops, coffee pot 25cm high, sugar bowl 12cm high, gross weight 63.7ozt (4) CONDITION REPORT: sugar - crested to one side, marks rubbed but still legible, gilt interior, overall good. creamer - crested to one side, dent to side below crest, marks clear, remnants of a gilt interior. coffee pot - crested to one side, hinge good, marks to base good and clear. tea pot - crested to one side, hinge a little wobbly to the cover, the piece has been used and has tea staining to the interior, split to the inside of the base of the handle, marks clear and legible. overall - all the pieces have some surface scratching and wear throughout commensurate with age.
