Planters Association of Ceylon, a collection of various items and ephemera related to Noel Herbert Wykeham Dulling OBE Mr N.H.W. Dulling travelled to Ceylon in 1921 to begin a venture in tea planting, following his success he became Secretary of the Planters Association of Ceylon, a position he held for 20 years and in 1963 he was made a life member. He retired late 1964 and returned to Britain. The collection comprises: A white metal mounted casket engraved to the cover 'Noel Herbert Wykeham Dulling admitted to life membership of the Planter's Association of Ceylon 29th March 1963', within fitted case. A white metal scroll case, with chased elephant and scroll decoration, engraved 'Noel Herbert Wykeham Dulling elected life member of the Kalutara district planters' association 25th September 1963', enclosing presentation scroll A white metal medal; 'The Planters Association of Ceylon, engraved 'N.H. Wykeham Dulling OBE long and meritorious service 17.2.64', within fitted case The most excellent order of the British Empire, silver gilt George V badge in fitted case with ribbon. A George V efficiency medal with 'Ceylon' clasp, awarded to 'RFN N.H.W. Dulling C.P.R.C'. A Victoria diamond jubilee 1837-1897 white metal medallion.
