A mid 19th century part tea service, possibly Coalport, of shaped form and decorated with flowers with gilt detailing and blue borders, comprising teapot and cover, sugar bowl and cover, slops bowl, milk jug, to sandwich plates, thirteen cups and eleven saucers CONDITION REPORT: Blue ground with bleeding, more so the the larger pieces and plates. Gilt wear visible (more noticeably to the sandwich plates) and other pieces. Teapot and cover with extensive stained crazing to the base. Stained star crack beneath spout and also underside. Sugar bowl cover handle re-glued, stained hairline crack to base of sugar bowl and two rim descending hairline cracks. Milk jug with stained hairline crack to base. One teacup extensively crazed. One saucer with hairline crack. One saucer with crack to foot rim. Signs of wear throughout.
