A fine quality Indian assembled four piece white metal tea and coffee service, probably Kashmir - early 20th century, comprising a three piece tea service, of baluster form, with hinged lids, snake-form foliate scroll handles and foliate pierced flared bases, chased throughout with arabesques and foliage, the teapot 19.25cm high; with a closely matched cylindrical coffee pot, possibly made later to match the tea service (the base inscribed 'VRG'), 22.75cm high, weight overall 1973g.
