The Small Canteen, How to plan and operate modern meal service, London: Oxford University Press for the Empire Tea Bureau, 1947, typography by Oliver Simon, colour and black & white illustrations, numerous plans and charts, front free endpaper with ink ownership signature, original cloth, gilt-lettered spine, extremities lightly rubbed, dust jacket, with patterned design by Diana Wilbraham, some toning and minor marks, spine ends a trifle frayed, front panel with chips to lower edge, and small losses at front joint and to lower right corner, 4toQty: (1)NOTESA scarce survival, particularly with the dust jacket. The Small Canteen was produced under the auspices of the Empire Tea Bureau, as a follow-up to their publication 'Canteens at Work'. Diana Wilbraham, who designed several patterned papers for the Curwen Press, also designed the colourful nutritional charts on pages 78-79 of this book.
