A French four-piece tea and coffee service and two-handled tea tray, by Christofle, mid 20th Century, the service with ovoid bodies and bay leaf band, the tea and coffee pot with ornate fruit finials to domed cover, rams head terminals to leaf cast spouts, stained scroll handles, all resting on leaf, horses head and paw feet, height of coffee pot 11 1/2in. (29cms); the rounded rectangular tray with beaded border, fluted handles, 26in. (66cms). (5)
A Victorian four-piece tea and coffee service, by Edward and John Barnard, London 1857, each piece of baluster form, decorated with scrollwork, fruit and floral designs, on shaped circular spreading bases, the teapot and hot water jug with hinged domed covers, urn finials, height of coffee pot 11in. (28cms), 76oz.

(21cms), 59.5oz. gross.
A Leach Pottery, celadon glazed porcelanious part tea service, comprising six cups (one cracked), seven saucers, a milk jug and a sugar bowl, together with a large tea pot with an incised leaf motif to each side, probably by Bernard Leach, lid chipped. Five 18.2cm plates each with incised leaf, and a leaf incised stoneware plate, 25cm, these again probably decorated by Bernard Leach. (See illustration) NOTE: This collection was bought by Joyce Endeen, Bernard Leach`s secretary from 1948 to 1950. She was buying it on behalf of an aunt and chose each piece carefully.

Krishniam Chetty and Son, Bangalore with elephant head and trunk chased handles, the teapot with a standing elephant finial, the spout an elephant`s head and trunk. The body of each decorated in relief with jungle scenes showing the hunting of wild animals, bun feet. Maker`s mark for each piece.
