A Herculaneum part tea and coffee service, with a wide orange band of stylised flowers linked by a continuous gilt leaf, the rims and handles gilt, the service included an oval teapot, cover and stand, 137 in gilt, c1805 (26). One saucer dish broken and glued, minor star crack in the base of the teapot, one saucer with a rim chip and another with a faint hairline crack in the well, another saucer rather heavily crazed glaze mainly noticeable on the reverse. Generally several of the saucers with worn gilding on the rims or stacking wear. One teacup with a minor crack near the base, another with some wear to the gilding. The other pieces in this set are in good condition with practically no wear or rubbing of the gilding, no cracks chips or restoration
