A Newhall Porcelain Part Tea and Coffee Service, pattern number 540, Early 19th Century, decorated in blue and gilt with leaves (thirty-eight pieces)Condition Report - Saucer dish with some scattered wear to gilding and flat chip to rim. Smaller saucer dish with scattered wear to gilding and large chip to rim, with associated hairline crack measuring approximately 1ins. Slop bowl - section of side broken away in two pieces and re-stuck. Some scattered wear to gilding. Cream jug - miniscule amount of wear to gilt detail on top of handle. Ten tea cups with ring handles - one has a small flat chip to rim. One with wear to gilt line close to base. One with small flat chip to inner rim. Ten coffee cans - one with small hyphen-shape vertical chip from rim and with associated hairline crack measuring approximately 1.5ins. One with vertical crack from rim to base and with two associated cracks coming away from this. The upper edge of the rim to all with very minor wear to gilding. Fifteen saucers - All with some scattered wear to gilt detail. One missing the majority of its gilt decoration.

AN EXTENSIVE ROYAL DOULTON BELMONT PATTERN TEA & DINNER SERVICE with numerous varied size plates, serving items, cups, etc.Condition report: Some have gilt backstamps, some brown, the seconds are chipped to centre of four ‘D’s’. Two-handled soup bowls, one badly cracked, three others cracked. Oval tureen & cover – good condition. Two-handled circular serving plate – scratches & gilt loss. 34cm meat dish – scratches & gilt wear. Four 40.5cm meat dishes – scratches & gilt wear to all, one badly cracked. Teacups – seconds x 4 one with crack in the foot. Pair of sauce boats – gilt wear, one has chips to foot rim, some gilt wear to the bases. Milk jug & Sugar bowl - both condition okay. Three serving dishes – one x gilding gone dark – can’t see crack but sounds a little dead, each have some gilt wear and scratches. Saucers – 9 seconds gilt wear to nearly all. Dessert plates 20.5cm in diameter seconds 15, overall gilt wear. Dessert bowls 1 second, good condition. Side plates – gilt wear to 3, 4 very worn. Four plates 22.7cm in diameter – each has gilt wear & some scratches. Dinner plates 26.7cm in diameter – minor gilt wear – particularly the plain inner line scratches to the base of plates, second 1, one has a mistake a line on the border, one has damage to the gilding to the edge, one with rim chip.
