Partially worn marks, each piece initialled, some minor dents, age splits to ivory, both knops damaged - broken part of teapot knop retained, almost half of coffee pot missing. 101113

Note: The service was given by repute from the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria to Countess Charlotte Sophie of Aldenburg, thence by descent to Charlotte Frances Bentinck, Lady Milnes, to which an enclosed note refers.
