Each decorated in the Imari palette, printed backstamp 'Amherst Japan No.824', some repairs, restoration and handling wear throughout Condition Report / Extra Information Teapot with full rivet repairs. One tea plate cracked. One tea plate with hairline. Cream jug with rivet to handle. One side plate with rim chips. One teacup riveted. One teacup badly cracked. One coffee cup cracked. Three saucers damaged. Some pieces with age and handling wear.
An extensive late 19th century Meissen porcelain part dinner service, comprising; 20 dinner plates, 10 side plates, 10 tea plates, 10 soup bowls, large oval meat platter, large circular bowl, three graduated oval bowls, fruit bowl, and twin handled gravy boat on integral stand, each decorated in bright enamels with sprays of flowers on a white ground and within gilt borders, underglaze blue crossed sword mark verso Condition Report / Extra Information 57 pieces in total. Gravy boat chipped to base. Large bowl cracked. One tea plate chipped. Otherwise good. No crazing. Gilt good. Paint good. Marks good.

Hon John Satterfield Sandars, CVO, DCL, PC born January 1853, died 29th March 1934, married Harriet Grace Mary Don in London, 10th August 1892. A lawyer and a scholar who became a political secretary most notably to Arthur J Balfour, Prime Minister from 1895 to 1905. He was the son of Charles Sandars, an estate and colliery agent at Eastley End House near Thorpe, Surrey
A Rosenthal tea service, 2 cake plates, 12 cups, 12 saucers, 9 plates, sugar basin and milk jug. CONDITION REPORT: All pieces in this lot are in extremely good order. It does not look as if the service has really been used. We can see no evidence of any chips, cracks or any damage at all. There may be some very minor surface scratches to the plates but nothing of any significance. The lot is really in first class condition and even the gilding is very good.

CONDITION REPORT: This dinner service has been used. A number of items are faded commensurate with being put in a dishwasher. There are knife marks to bowls, plates etc. Bowls scratched 7, medium plates scratched 3, main plates scratched 6, saucers 1 cracked, 3 badly faded, side plates scratched 4, chipped 1, soup bowl 1 scratched, soup bowl saucer 1 scratched, ashette 1 scratched all other items are free from chips, cracks and restoration.
