A late Victorian hallmarked silver three piece tea service with bird and foliate scroll embossed decoration and engraved initial "R", John Millward Banks, Chester 1898, length of teapot 21cm, combined approx 19.1ozt. CONDITION REPORT: The lid of the teapot is broken away from the hinge and has left an unsightly hole where this occurs. Signs of wear throughout but otherwise OK.

CONDITION REPORT: Minimal rubbing to finial of teapot otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.

CONDITION REPORT: One cup has a 0.5cm hairline crack to the rim, another cup has two 0.5cm very fine hairline cracks to the rim, otherwise light surface scratches throughout, but basically ok.
