A Victorian four piece silver tea service by George John Richards, London 1851, comprising teapot, hot water jug, sucrier and milk jug, each of hexagonal baluster form with angled handles on scrolling feet, elaborately engraved with scrolling foliate detail, each bearing a griffin crest, inscription to teapot and hot water jug reading 'Presented to T.F. Sanger. Esq. for his unremitting attention to his Friend during a severe and dangerous illness, March 1851', teapot 18.cm high, gross weight 67ozt (4)Condition Report; Overall good. All pieces show varying amounts of denting - most of the dents are concentrated to the facet edges, with some smaller dents to the bodies. All show moderate scratching and wear to the exterior and interiors.Teapot: Fair order. several areas of solder repair, mostly concentrated to the facet edges and around the cover. See pictures for illustration. Decoration and engravings are crisp and clear. Knop is slightly loose. Cover opens smoothly and closes flush. Wobbles slightly on a level surface. Cracking to the ivory detail.Coffee Pot: Good order. No splitting, thinning or signs of repair. Cover opens smoothly and closes flush. This does not sit flat on a level surface, and has a wobble. Cracking to the ivory detail. Engravings are crisp and clear.Sugar bowl: Good order. Possible signs of solder repair around the base (see pictures for illustration). A Minton 'Haddon Hall' pattern part dinner service, comprising: an oval serving dish and cover, two oval serving dishes, a sauce boat and stand, seven twin handled soup bowls, nine circular side plates, eight crescent shaped side plates, six desert bowls, five coffee cups, four coffee cup saucers, five teacups, eight teacup saucers, a sucrier and cover, a slop bowl and stand, and a large tea cup (Qty) CONDITION REPORT:Five cups and two saucers show noticeable fading to the patterned surface. Ten pieces are marked as seconds. The sauce boat shows a near continuous hairline crack around the base. All other pieces show minor wear, fine surface scratching and the odd cutlery mark.
A Wedgwood 'Florentine' part tea service, comprising: a teapot and cover, a milk jug, two sucriers, twelve tea cups, seven coffee cups, seventeen saucers, thirteen side plates, and a sandwich plate (at fault), each piece decorated with a border of gilt mythical beasts against a green ground (Qty) CONDITION REPORT: All pieces show rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout. A dinner plate and several saucers show circular hairline cracks to the wells, some with crazing running off. Several pieces also show fine surface crazing, firing pits and minor imperfections. All pieces show fine surface scratching commensurate with age and use, including cutlery marks to some degree.
A Shelley tête-à-tête tea service in the 'Melody' pattern, early 20th century, comprising: a teapot and cover, two cups, two saucers, a milk jug and a sucrier and stand, each piece decorated with floral sprays against a mint green ground, gilt highlights to rims, printed maker's marks and painted 'Z12974' to bases, with six early 20th century Royal Worcester tea cups and four saucers, each with pink body and Indian import marks (18) CONDITION REPORT:Shelley: All pieces show minor rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no visible chips, cracks or losses.Worcester: All pieces show extensive fine surface crazing. One saucer shows a circular hairline crack around the edge of the cup recess. A second saucer shows staining around the cup recess.

English porcelain Imari pattern part tea service of fluted form, 1820's, printed and painted in gilt with shaped panels, scrolling flowers and leafy tendrils alternating with dark blue panels, gilt with leaves and iron red flowerheads viz;: a baluster milk jug, a slop bowl, two shaped square dishes with pierced scroll handles, ten teacups, nine coffee cups, twelve saucersCondition ReportMost have some wear to the base.Most have some black marks, most noticeably on bowl.Some crazing throughout only very minor on cups and saucers.Teacups- 2 Handles well repaired, 2 moderately well repaired and 1 poorly repaired. Some discoloration on 2 handles. Staining noticeable inside 3 cups. Some minor loss gilding throughout. Saucers- Some loss of gilding and minor scratches throughout, 2 with moderate colour loss at the centre. 1 Has a chip on its base.Both plates have old repairs and some gilt loss, one has a chip.
A Grainger & Wood part tea service, circa 1810, pattern No. 179, gilt with a leaf and dot swagged border with blue rosettes at intervals, comprising a teapot and cover, a sugar bowl and cover, a milk jug, two coffee cans, a teacup and a saucer CONDITION REPORT: Teapot has tiny nick to tip of spout, could be a tiny chip or a firing issue. Jug handle is glued on. Jug has crazing and faint staining. Some rubbing to gilt but overall quite good.
