A 19th Century Coalport blue and white tea service Comprising teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl, four cups, four saucers each having blue and white floral designs, diameter of tray is 38cm. CONDITION REPORT: Cream jug with chip inside of spout, one can with hairline crack to interior. Medium size meat plate cracked and riveted , one bowl heavily cracked, tureen large piece broken out and missing. Majority of plates with chips, paint wear to decoration.
An Indian heavy quality white metal three-piece ovoid tea service, ornately embossed and chased with processional figures bearing effigies of Shiva, with elephant finial and 'trunk' spout, 37 oz gross, each having an engraved inscription 'R. John & Edward Baddeley 1784 - 1806 - An extensive cream coloured earthenware tea and coffee service decorated with an enamelled trompe l'oeil bamboo border and gilding, c. 1805, some pieces impressed 'IEB' and a few impressed Spode comprising: 29 coffee cans, 32 tea cups(two slightly different shapes), teapot and stand, covered sugar, milk jug, 2 slop bowls, 42 saucers, 12 bowls of varying sizes, 12 plates x 18.5 cm dia., 11 plates x 17 cm dia. NB: An example of the teapot and stand is in the V&A collection Condition Report Difficult to give a report - some crazing overall, stains to cups and some gilding loss. The damaged items are - small chip to teapot spout and small chip to underside of the rim. Two 18.5 cm plates cracked.
