A Royal Copenhagen blue-and-white fluted tea service: 5 teacups and saucers (1 x 1/79); 5 dish cups (1/315) with 9 saucers (1/2199); 2 coffee cups and saucers (1/78), 1 two-handled cup and saucer (1/2199); 6 jugs - two pairs (1/59, 1/61) and two larger singles (1/450, 1/561), 5 lidded preserve dishes (2 x 1/398, 1 x 1/239, 2 x 1/400), 2 dishes (2 x 2185), 2 jam pots, one without lid (1/64 and 8 plates (4 side 1/180, 2 cake 1/176, 1 large 1/177, 1 small 1/182). Overall, in good condition.Condition Report: Cups etc. appear to be in generally overall good order, the pattern, glazing and marks underside all clear and it is apparent that the set is first quality (not scored through to the underside). The set is extensive and upon close inspection the two larger milk jugs are in very good order and two smaller cream/milk jugs without problems. There is a lidded mustard in good order. Several circular pots with and without handles - similar good order. Small circular stands without problems. Larger saucer dishes appear OK as do medium saucer dishes. Some of the pieces are noted to have quite thick dust which is easily removeable. One of the small cups (coffee) has had the handle away and now re-glued. One of the 15cm diameter saucers have a minor chip to the edge. In the second box upon close inspection the two larger 23.5cm diameter bowls/dishes are in good order as the smaller dishes. Also a variety of saucers and side plates in good order and it is note there is little evidence of excessive wear to any of the pieces. The larger jug has a fluted body and appears in good order with only minor marking to the under side of the foot, to be expected through usage. One of the 11cm two-handled lidded pots has a double match head sized chip away to the inner rim of the lower section with the two handles (not visible when the cover is on). There is bright glazing, no real scratch marks etc. but some visibility under a glass. Overall the set appears to be in good, general condition with no major problems noted.
