A 19th century English porcelain tea set with lavish gilt decoration, impressed M H & Co (one tray) Notes; Purportedly manufactured at the Hawley factory. Robert Clark was a descendant of the Hawley potters at Rawmarsh and this service is said to have been in the family since manufacture. . Two plates with cracks in the well. Jug with a crack on the very bottom. Crazed and with some minor staining. The gilding has survived in remarkably good condition. No restoration.

A quantity of mixed ceramics including a Paris cup and saucer, Darte Freres, Bloor Derby dessert service, Copeland dessert service, a similar Victorian tea set, Spode pearlware Greek pattern shell formed dish etc (two trays and qty). Paris with two short hair cracks to the saucer and gilt wear to both pieces. Turquoise jug with restored spout. Spode dish with two foot chips and a rim chip. Copeland service one plate badly cracked, the comport restored and with damage. Bloor Derby service, crazed and with wear. One serving dish stained and with a bad crack in the well. Victorian teaset one saucer cracked, four coffee cans with damage. Six turquoise edged side plates, one heavily stained and crazed. Four posies with tiny nicks.

A quantity of modern ceramics, art glass and household china, including Royal Doulton Toby jug, Poole Pottery tea and coffee service, a pair of German 19th century style figures, a modern Chinese Cockerel, together with Rudyard Kipling ''The Jungle Book'', Mortimer Menpes ''Japan'', Mrs Rudolph Taywell ''Fabre's Book Of Insects'', in four boxes, (qty). Poole pottery, one small cup cracked. Chips to the internal teapot lid rim. Some side plates scratched, some crazing. The other pieces in the lot have not been assessed.
