A Wedgwood bone china part dinner service, Gold Florentine, comprising ashette, vegetable tureen with lid, eight dinner plates, eight soup bowls, eight side plates, eight tea plates. CONDITION REPORT: This lot appear to have had very little use. The gilding is all in first class condition and we cannot see any damage, repairs or restoration. The backstamp is the black two handled vase above the "Wedgwood Bone China Made in England" brown stamp with the R within circle to the right of Wedgwood. The pattern name beneath this.
A Clarice Cliff Crocus patterned coffee service, comprising six cups, six saucers, six plates, cream jug, sugar basin, coffee pot and large plate (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This tea service is in first class condition and has clearly barely been used. The colours are bright and strong with only extremely minor paint losses to the odd piece. The only minor problem with this lot is the cream jug which has a small chip to the underside edge of the spout. A very small section has been reglued (approximately 3 mm in length). Other than this there are no hairline cracks, no staining and no crazing.
A 19th century French tea service, the cups marked "Rousseau, Rue Coquilliere" and comprising six cups, six saucers and cake plate. CONDITION REPORT: All pieces are in generally good condition with no damage, repair or restoration. All pieces have minor rubbing to the gilding which is more pronounced on the rims of the cups and extremities of the saucers.
A William IV silver tea service, comprising teapot, sugar basin and milk jug, the teapot London 1836, the sugar basin and jug London 1835 same maker Pierce & Burroughs, 1421 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot is in generally good condition. The finial is tight, the hinge in good order as is the spout. There are a number of small dints around the body of the piece but none of which are too significant. The sugar basin is in generally good order. The milk jug has again several dints around the proud part of the main body of the piece. Like the teapot these are visible but not too problematic.
A George V planished silver tea service, four pieces, London 1917, together with a similar sugar spoon, Birmingham 1918, gross weight 1983 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This tea service is in generally extremely good condition. There are minor surface scratches with no dents, no inscriptions and no damage of any note. The hallmarks are legible and only slightly rubbed. The makers mark which is smaller than the other silver marks is slightly difficult to read on all four pieces. It is however CE.
A Chinese silver tea service, comprising sugar basin, milk jug and teapot and with accompanying tray. Tea service marked beneath with characters marks and the initials "M.K. 95" and with other character marks, probably Hong Kong, circa 1895. The tray with character marks. Teapot length 8.25 ins, tray length 14.25 ins, tea service weight 992 grams, tray weight 790 grams, combined weight 1782 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The three piece tea service is in first class condition as is the tray. They have clearly had very little use.
