An extensive Coalport "Batwing" tea service with blue and gilt decoration having unusual serving platters, lidded sardine dish etc, approx 75 pieces Minor staining to corner of sauce dish. Teapot crazed and stained internally otherwise generally a very clean set with bright gilt. Plates seem OK, a couple of cups are "clunky "one with noticeable cracks around the handle, so overall good condition with no other obvious damage, repair or restoration.

A composed three piece silver tea service, comprising a late Victorian teapot, 13cm high, an early 20th century cream jug and twin-handled sugar bowl, each of oval form with gadrooned body and rim, total 20oztCondition report: All items display surface scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with age. There are residue polish marks to the decorative details. The maker's marks are rubbed. The handle of the teapot has detached from the body, and there is a flood of solder along the join line indicating repair.
