A Spode '1291' pattern tea service, 19th century, comprising: a teapot, cover and stand, a sucrier, a milk jug, nine spur handled London shape teacups, ten spur handled London shape coffee cups, eight saucers and two serving plates, each piece decorated in an Imari palette with exotic birds, painted maker's mark to bases (33) CONDITION REPORT:The teapot rim shows a small firing crack approximately 5mm long and a hairline crack approximately 2cm long. The milk jug shows a decorating fault below the spout. One teacup shows a stained hairline crack approximately 4cm long. One coffee cup shows extensive repairs. Some pieces show the odd small firing pit or frit. Some pieces show small decorating faults. Some pieces show surface marking to the underside. All pieces show rubbing to the gilt highlights.

Coalport Spanish lace patterned dinner and tea service, comprising 12 soup bowls and saucers, 6 large plates, 6 dessert plates, 10 side plates, 16 small side plates, coffee pot and extra lid, 2 sugar pots, 2 milk jugs, cream jug gravy boat and saucer, 14 teacups and saucers and 18 coffee cups and saucers.
A Royal Worcester blue and white milk jug, together with a 19th century Worcester butterfly tea service, comprising 13 cups, 16 saucers, 4 sandwich plates and sugar basin. CONDITION REPORT: The non-matching milk jug has a hairline crack running from the top of the handle down into the main body which separates and slightly forks. It runs for +/- 4 cm. The jug is generally discoloured but has no other issues. The matching tea service has no pieces with any restoration. The four large plates are free from damage but all have crazing in varying degrees. Two of the plates have very little crazing but the other two have crazing that is clearly visible on fairly close inspection. The jewelling and painted butterfly panels are all in good order. The sugar basin is in good condition with the exception of crazing towards the upper rim and some rubbing to the gilding. Fifteen of the sixteen saucers are in good order, one has visible crazing. There is some minor rubbing to the gilding. The cups have a few more minor problems. All have some minor rubbing to the gilding. Six are in generally good order with no significant crazing, one is a little discoloured and has visible crazing, another is very slightly discoloured. Four have short hairline cracks which are discoloured and emanating from the top rim, the longest being 1 cm, the shortest .5 cm. The last cup has a small chip to the foot rim. The general appearance of the set is good but note again, all pieces have minor rubbing to the gilding on the extremities.

A late 19th century Indian silver three piece tea service, by Grish Chunder Dutt, Calcutta, of good gauge, decorated in high relief with native figures in rural landscapes with trees and thatched buildings on a sanded ground, the handles and spout modelled as elephant trunks, the teapot finial designed as a figure on a elephant, each piece stamped to the base with maker's mark 'GRISH CHUNDER DUTT, BHOWANIPORE, CALCUTTA', teapot with ivory insulators, height of teapot approximately 15cm. £600-£800 --- Provenance: Grish Chunder Dutt & Sons were one of the best and most prolific silversmiths working in Bhowanipore, a suburb of Calcutta, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The firm was established in 1872 and became known for their distinctive local style of decoration, depicting rural scenes of Bengal village life and local religious traditions, possibly resulting from the 1883 Calcutta International Exhibition which encouraged the development of regional styles, as opposed to the British inspired Colonial style of silverwork prevalent in the 19th century.
