No. 225727, reverse inscribed ASTON VILLA F.C. WINNERS ENGLISH CUP G.F. WHELDON within laurel leaves stamped THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, 15ct gold, Birmingham 1896 by Constantine & Floyd, diameter 31mm., 19 gr. George Frederick (Fred) Wheldon (1869-1924) played at inside forward for England and several football clubs including Aston Villa, Small Heath and West Bromwich Albion. He also played County Cricket for Worcestershire.Aston Villa beat Everton 3-2 in this Final, held at Crystal Palace on 10th April 1897. Wheldon scored the second Aston Villa goal in the 35th minute, their other goals coming from John Campbell and Jimmy Crabtree.

1903-04 London Charity Cup 9ct gold winner's medal awarded to a player of Casuals FC,quatrefoil form, obverse with central London City coat of arms, surrounded by enamelled band LONDON CHARITY CUP 1903-4, reverse hallmarked, diameter 2.5cm., 8gr. The London Football Association Charity Cup was competed for between 1889-90 and 1974-75. Casuals won the competition on six occasions.

The identity of the Celtic player who was awarded this medal is unknown.

William ''Bill'' Foulkes (1932-2013), an English footballer who played for the Manhcester United Busby Babes team in the 1950's and 1960's. He made 566 appearances on the senior team scoring 7 goals and was capped only once for England in 1955.

The match is widely regarded as one of the greatest FA Cup Finals in history and was the last one held at the Millennium Stadium while Wembley was being rebuilt.

Known for his trademark windmill goal celebrations, he also made 46 international appearances for England between 1972 and 1977, scoring 21 goals, and after retirement from football became, to this day, a successful racehorse trainer.
