ENGLAND RUGBY PHOTOGRAPHS EARLY 1900'S A collection of photos believed to show a WWI Regiment Rugby team depicted outside the barracks, possibly in Cheltenham or Gloucester, accompanied by 3 England Rugby team members photographs circa 1910. Two photos show a young man with his rugby cap and the other he is seated with the cap on his knee. Another shows a man wearing his rugby shirt. Others include non-sport related photos featuring a top hatted man with a moustache, but also showing him in a striped football shirt. Nine views of Rugby / Football matches, apparently outside the barracks and other locations. Plus a postcard written from Pietermaritzburg Army Garrison in August 1914 advising "I have seen some good football old sport!" One assumes that the professional England Rugby players were drafted into the First World War and this is a partial record of their time. Twenty images in total. Generally good

DUNCAN EDWARDS Booklet from St Francis Church, Dudley where Duncan Edwards is buried, eight pages and shows his tombstone and the engraved window showing Duncan in the church. Comes with programme, Football League v Irish League at Liverpool, 20/10/54 when Edwards and Roger Byrne, who was also tragically a victim of the Munich Air Disaster , both played for the Football League.
