1967 Shamrock Rovers (Boston) Tour pennant: Famous competition in 1967 organised by the North American Soccer League. Wolves Aberdeen Stoke and many big international clubs in attendance. To attract the locals the football club would adopt an American city. Shamrock Rovers were Boston. This large pennant which surely belongs back in the Shamrock Rovers boardroom was given to the opposing captain. From the Maurice Setters Collection who was captain of the Cleveland Stokers (Stoke City) who played them on June 4th. Measures 21 inches and is of the highest quality embroidery.
